NC Mountain High Country

Local Events

The festival calendar

The High Country runs on small-town festivals with big views: woolly worm races in Banner Elk, headline concerts on a ski slope, free music at the highest bar in the East. These are the recurring events we plan around, with the official calendars linked for exact dates.
